amount on paid search traffic but not realizing the ROI properly for each
SKU.
The Strategy
- The initial campaign was reviewed for benchmark performance
- A tightly focused PPC campaign was developed with micro-targeted adgroups
- Brands, Players, Teams, and Equipment categories were implemented for maximum segmentation
- Two sets of redundant analytic tracking mechanisms were employed for accurate reporting at the keyword level
The Results
- After 90 days the conversion rate more than doubled from 2.06% to
4.31%
- The cost per conversion decreased 54%
- The total number of sales increased 57%
